InFlux would like to dedicate this exhibit to Anderson Bailey, a fellow Tennessee clay artist who we recently lost to cancer.

Anderson Bailey participated in one of our early exhibits, and he worked hard to accomplish our shared goal of advancing the dialogue around contemporary ceramics in Chattanooga, TN.  We at InFlux feel like we’ve just lost a “fellow soldier fighting the good fight.”  In his honor, we’d like to encourage the next wave of ceramic artists by asking for help raising donations for the new Anderson Bailey Clay Scholarship Fund at Tennessee Tech. University.

To donate online go to: www.tntech.edu/univadv/annualgiving/giving-options/online-giving. Select OTHER from the Gift Designation Fund drop down menu. Then type ANDERSON BAILEY CLAY SCHOLARSHIP FUND.

Participants were encouraged to purchase a vase, knowing that in 30 days they would be asked to give it away to:

A long lost friend, the Republican/Democrat they “unfriended,” to a neighbor in need, etc…

The recipient enjoyed the vase for another 30 days, then was asked to give it away again.  The third person got to keep the vase and shared the story!
